Basic Rabbit Genetics
I will only be covering the absolute basics of the rabbit genetics on this game. If you need to go more in depth, feel free to browse the forums.
Color Genes
A-Gene
A: Agouti pattern of banded hair. Wild rabbit look with different color bands all over the body. Has lighter colored fur around eyes, ears, necks, legs, belly and tail. Examples: Chestnut, Chinchilla, Opal and Squirrel.
at: Tan pattern. Rabbit has either silver (Marten) or tan (Otter) pattern around eyes, triangle, feet, legs, ears and belly. Examples: Silver Marten, Otter, Fox.
a: Self color. Rabbit is solid colored. Examples: Black, Blue, Chocolate and Lilac.
B-Gene
B: Black, in agouti (A_) it has black bands, in self (a_) it is solid black.
b: Chocolate, in agouti (A_) the bands are chocolate and it becomes a Chocolate Chestnut,in self it is solid chocolate.
C-gene
C: Full color development, all bands of hair remains.
cchd: Allows all four dark pigmented bands and only one light bands to be present. Example: Chinchilla
cchl: Allows two of the dark bands and none of the light bands to be present. Causes shading. Example: Sable
ch: Causes points on ears, nose, feet and tail. Example: Himalayan
c: Albino, white with red eyes. Also called REW.
D-Gene
D: Dense coat color, or full color shaded fur. Black remains black.
d: Dilute coat color. Washed out color. Black becomes Blue, Chestnut becomes Opal.
E-Gene
E: Normal extension of dark pigment
e: Working C gene, the ee causes all dark pigments to be gone. Leaves Orange yellow or Fawn.
Es: "Steel", in Agouti it makes the middle band of hair darker and makes the landmarks darker, leaves white guard hair.
ej: Japanese brindle works with Agouti to make the black and orange hair in patches rather than mixed. Harlequin.

Dutch
Du: Absence of Dutch pattern, not Dutch
du: Dutch pattern
Dwarf
DwDw: Peanut. Never survive.
Dwdw: Dwarf
dwdw: Normal size
Broken/Spotted
En: English spotting that causes spots only on head (Charlie)
Enen: Normal English spotting, can also work with du and v (Broken)
en: Self colored, No spotting.
Vienna/BEW
VV: Normal coat color
Vv: Dutch type markings on colored coat (Vienna)
vv: Blue Eyed White (BEW)
Wide Band
W: Normal width on the middle yellow or white band in agouti. Normal coloring.
w: Double width of the middle yellow or white band in agouti.
Silver
Si: No effect on color.
si: Silvering, causes silver white hair and silver tipped hair- to mix with regular color fur.
Lionhead Manes
MM: Double Mane
Mm: Single Mane
mm: No Mane
